Reservation deposit is not required to be added to our reservation list. Once the kids are born, a 50% non-refundable deposit can be made by check or PayPal. Please note that if using PayPal, a 3% fee must be added, or you can send funds through the 'Friends and Family' feature. Upon birth, we will notify you, and you have 24 hours to confirm your reservation and submit the deposit. If you miss the notification, don't worry; you will be moved down the list but remain on it. If you still want a kid, contact us immediately, and we will arrange an alternative or move you to 2nd in line for your initial request. The balance is due at the time of pick-up, and it must be paid in full when the animal leaves. Cash is the preferred method of payment, but if paying with a check, please allow sufficient time for processing. We promise to provide you with a healthy and vibrant kid that embodies the best qualities of our farm. All kids will be disbudded, up to date on shots and coccidia prevention, and come with registration paperwork. To ensure the well-being of our goats, single kids will only be sold to homes with at least one other goat, as goats are herd animals and thrive with same-species companionship. As responsible breeders, our goal is to ensure both goats and goat owners are happy and well-cared for.
Occasionally, we may have adult goats available for purchase. Please be aware that these adults have been selected for specific reasons to advance our breeding program goals, and we form strong attachments to them. Rest assured, these animals are not considered culls or defective in any way, as we understand the challenges of maintaining a large herd. The prices for these goats reflect their value to our breeding program and the potential value they can bring to the breed as a whole. If you have questions about their conformation, health, or breeding history, we are more than happy to provide answers to help our goats find the most suitable breeding program where they can contribute effectively.
While we highly recommend farm pick-up, we understand that some buyers may require shipping for their animals. In such cases, all shipping arrangements are the buyer's responsibility. This includes covering all associated costs, including any veterinary paperwork required for transport. We will gladly assist and provide the necessary information, but the buyer assumes full responsibility for making shipping arrangements and covering related expenses.
As dedicated breeders of high-quality animals, we take pride in the physical and genetic soundness of all our herd members. However, once an animal leaves our property, there are no guarantees beyond genetic defects not resulting from buyer mismanagement. The buyer assumes full responsibility for the health and well-being of the goat upon leaving our care. To safeguard the health of our herd and maintain bio-security measures, we cannot accept returns under any circumstances. If desired, a health certificate can be provided at the buyer's expense.
We hold the right to retain any animal at any point of the sale, always acting in the best interest of the animal's welfare. Placing our animals is a serious matter, and we may inquire about your facilities, health program, current stock, and other relevant factors to ensure our beloved goats find a long, happy, and productive life in their new homes. Our priority is to ensure the well-being and future happiness of our sweet goats, and we appreciate your cooperation in this process.
At our farm, our goats are cherished like family members, and we hold our buyers to the same standard of responsibility and care. We kindly ask that you ensure you have the necessary resources to care for goats properly, including a basic 1st aid kit with appropriate antibiotics, access to a reliable veterinarian, safe and suitable accommodations with proper housing and fencing, as well as adequate feed, minerals, and supplements. It's essential to have hoof trimming shears and at least a basic understanding of goat care. Rest assured, we are here to support you every step of the way and are more than happy to share our expertise and knowledge. Our ultimate goal is to have healthy goats and satisfied, happy customers! Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have.
